    Every class at Embodied San Diego is designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether it's your first time on a mat or you've been moving for years. You'll always have room to go at your own pace, take rest when you need it, and never feel out of place for being new. Beginners are genuinely welcome here, not just tolerated.

  • hen this is a great place to start. At Embodied San Diego, a lot of our students walk through the door for the very first time, and we’re always excited to have you! Our instructors break everything down with clear cues and offer modifications throughout, so you'll never feel lost or left behind. Just show up. We'll handle the rest.

  • We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early, especially for your first visit. It gives you a chance to meet an instructor, get the lay of the studio, and take a breath before class starts.

  • Whatever allows you to move and breathe comfortably!

  • Many students at Embodied San Diego practice through pregnancy, recovery, and with physical limitations — and we love supporting you through all of it. That said, we always recommend checking in with your healthcare provider before starting any new movement practice, just to make sure it's the right fit for your body right now.

    During class, our instructors offer modifications, and you're always welcome to rest, slow down, or skip anything that doesn't feel right.

  • Our yoga classes focus on breath, flexibility and mindfulness, Pilates will focus on core strength and alignment, and Sculpt is yoga-based strength training. Try out all three to see for yourself!

    You can park in the 2-hour retail parking in the lot, or the retail parking in the Townsend garage.
